Sorry for the lack of updates.
Thank my parents. Poor papa has been gone approximately 18 hours a day trying to finish up his semester and mama has been running around trying to finish Christmas shopping, wrapping, and packing. I'm excited to get back to Ohio where my people are. Maybe there, someone will have time to play with me.
To tide you over until someone takes a picture of me, here's a picture of my newest friend. Hannah Riley Fritz was born yesterday. She is 6 pounds and 10 ounces and her mom and dad, Mindy and Kevin are high school friends of my mom.

We think she's pretty and mom is impressed by the Fritz's good tax planning. This is their second end of year baby. Hannah's older brother, Ethan was born almost exactly 3 years ago at the end of December. Way to maximize those deductions!!Finally, for your viewing pleasure, mama found a link to reader submitted Santa photos. I think mom must have had some kind of traumatic Santa encounter when she was a kid, because she won't let this Santa thing go. (From mom: On the contrary- once we saw Santa in a parking lot, and he gave me a candy cane. And I didn't even have to wait in line. That's service.)

Click on the photo to see more pictures of kids who aren't quite yet in the Christmas spirit.
Last note- if you're paying attention to our countdown on the side bar, you'll notice that today marks mom's move over into the last 10 weeks of pregnancy. (Sorry aunt Jenni, we know that the countdown makes you anxious. Now is a good time to practice patience. Maybe your flat belly and ability to walk without waddling can make you feel better.) We're 3/4 of the way there. Mom says we're probably more like 30/42th of the way there. Geesh, so I was 9 days late. Is she going to hold that against me forever? I just hope baby Gordo doesn't hold out on her too. We'd like to post a picture of mom on the site, but we can't find a camera that takes that wide of an angle of shots yet. Slam!
