Wisconsin in the Dells
For Thanksgiving this year, all of my mom's family came up to the Dells. We had a great Thanksgiving meal, courtesy of Cub Foods (which was surprisingly good. Mom is considering never making Thanksgiving dinner again.)
Oliver also had a cake. He turns 1 on December 7th. Mom forgot to take pictures because she was in shock by how much he ate. He ate 3 plates of food and then downed 2 cupcakes. We think he was still hungry. He ate so much that I refused to eat a single bite and I didn't get to share any of Oliver's cake.
If you don't know, the
Wisconsin Dells were once famous for their sandstone formations (there are only 3 other places in the world like them. Even Great Grandma Seibert came to see them when she was a girl). Now the Dells are much more famous for being the self proclaimed waterpark capitol of the world. We stayed at the Wilderness resort that had 3 indoor waterparks. My favorite was the big wave pool. It was mom's favorite too. Dad got to go on the grown-up rides like the Toilet Bowl and the Hurricane. Maybe next year, I'll be gutsy enough to try out some water slides on my own.
Mom and Dad even spared the 75 cents in spare change they had so I could actually play a couple games.
When we got home, there was a package waiting for us. It was a Carson Palmer jersey from my Nama and Paw-paw Cooper! And then the Bengals even won today! All in all, this was the best weekend ever!
