Henry and June Turner

The life and times of a big brother and little sister.

My new little sister.

Tonight papa took me to the hospital to meet my new sister.

After one long day of taking care of his sick family, one very long night of childbirth and another long day of taking care of me, Papa looks pretty happy to finally spend some time with his Junebug. Thanks for taking care of us, papa.
Mama taught me how to work her bed and shared her yogurt with me.

Grandma and Nama carpooled up from Ohio today. They couldn't wait to come see baby June.
So far I think I like having a sister. People buy me ice cream and June even got me a Henry choo choo train. Mom let me get a closer look at her.

Mostly, she just sleeps. They whole time we were at the hospital, we only saw her eyeballs once. Mama says that will change.

I think I'll keep her.

Mama asked me to thank everyone for the nice phone calls and emails. She is feeling tired but pretty good considering the tumultuous couple of days she had.

We'll update with more pictures when we get home. We're having problems getting the pictures off our camera and on to our laptop.

Congrats again guys...little miss Junebug is beautiful. Since she arrived the same day Josh left for Iraq, news of her brightened up an otherwise crappity crap crap day. Can't wait to see you all around March 8 or so. Love ya!!
