Another day at home- June.
We stayed home again today. Mama is determined to the get the house finished by Saturday so we can spend our last days in Madison enjoying ourselves instead of packing. She's almost completely finished our room and the basement, mostly finished the living room. All she has left is her room and the bathrooms, since the movers are packing the kitchen. Oh, ad the garage. Yikes.
Which pretty much disproves mama's apprehension about falling asleep on my own when she quits swaddling me and officially makes me the easiest baby in the world.
And now that you've seen the bottom view, I know you're interested in seeing the whole outfit. Of course a baby needs a pleated mini skirt. Thanks Grandma Seibert!
Mama's still trying to get Henry to sing the Thomas song on video. She says she likes it when she hears little boys singing about "shunting trucks and hauling freight." She didn't have any success but she did catch Henry box surfing and just showing us how much energy he has.
He also showed off some of that energy tonight when we went to the furniture store to try out mattresses. Not only did he jump on every single mattress in the store, he also dived bombed every recliner. He just went down the row of chairs diving into each one, jumping out and then diving into the next. He completed his spectacle by runnig away from mama and getting lost. Mama says she's never taking him to a furniture store again because there are no aisles and Henry is smaller than every table so he got lost immediately. Thank goodness there weren't many people in the store, because when mama found Henry back by the water fountains she assured him that he would not be outside the house without holding her hand for a very, very long time. And luckily there weren't many people to hear the temper tantrum he threw next. We left very soon after that and went straight home to bed.
