A great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Seibert- Friday

My Grandma and Grandpa Seibert came to visit this weekend. They surprised me at babysitter's on Thursday afternoon. We went home and played all afternoon.

Friday morning we woke up bright and early to celebrate my dad's birthday.

The party began when mom came home early with chocolate donuts.

Mom never lets us eat these so dad and I had to eat them as fast as we could before she changed her mind.

We followed that up with a rousing game of peekaboo with Grandma. Then we went downtown to take dad out to lunch and walk around State Street and the Capitol.

Finally, we surprised dad with a birthday trifle and a song.
