We were a little confused when packages started showing up on our doorstep this week, but we then found out that Aunt Jenni was throwing us a baby shower in a box! It had everything that a party needs-decorations, plates, napkins, refreshments, games, and presents!

We got to enjoy a piece of cake for breakfast. What a treat!

Our friends and family from back home were all in on the party and sent a lot of cool things. Evie made this beautiful blanket for the baby. She even told us that she knotted all the knots herself! Grandma Seibert made the blue blanket. Mom is really excited about this blanket (modeled by Henry the cat) because it's made to fit into a car seat so we can swaddle the blanket and still keep it strapped in safely! And Jolie is modeling and very little sleeper that came from Nama Cooper.

Aunt Girl sent up this complete Packer gift set. Papa wished it was a Bengals set, but was glad Aunt girl didn't send anything from the Browns.

Look at these sweet t-shirts!

Papa fell asleep under the super soft blanket from GG and GG.

Aunt Jenni asked everone to play the toilet paper game and submit how big around they thought mama was. Most everybody was pretty close. Evie estimated the biggest- about 3 feet longer than the actual circumference of mama's baby. The measurement as of today was 44 inches. Natalie and Aunt Elizabeth tied for first place- both coming in within 1/2 sheet of toilet paper. Great Grandma Seibert came in second place- her strategy was to measure herself with two pillows under her shirt. Not bad! And honorable mention goes to Uncle Jim- who only guessed 3 sheets wide. Good thinking Uncle Jim.

Most creative present goes to Miss Megan, who sent her presents numbered and with a letter accompanying each present.

Miss Megan also gets a special mention because she sent a present for me too. She understands what it's like to be the oldest and have all the limelight stolen.

Mama let me at as official photographer for a while and I took this picture of the aftermath of the party. That's a lot of paper to recycle!

Here's the final inventory of the baby shower. Wow! Thanks to everyone who sent a present. We had a great time!
Here's a few more of the gifts:

Another goofy present from Miss Meg. Mom thinks it's funny, but Papa and I are just confused.

Great Aunt Mary sent up a personalized t-shirt that said "Little B&B."

After the party, I wanted to spend the rest of the day in my jammers in my modified garage, but mom had other plans.

We headed down to the Capitol for Winter Fest and the Capitol Square Sprints. That's when Madison hauls in snow on the streets around the Capitol and they have ski races. This winer they also had snow and ice sculpture contests. Here's one of the ice snowboarders we saw.

Despite this miserable looking picture, I had a pretty good time.

We all had warm drinks to keep us cozy while we walked. Unfortunately, the batteries on the camera died before we saw any skiers, so you'll just have to imagine the rest of the trip.
