Memorial Day- Henry.

On Monday, we headed down to Monona to the Monona Memorial Day Parade.

It took me a while to catch on to the idea of collecting candy off the street, but soon I was out there chasing it with my friends. You can see that I was a little miffed because everyone else was eating their candy and mama made me put all of mine in a bag. I did get to eat two pieces after the parade and now I get one piece after supper every night.

There were lots of old cars and trucks in the parade, as well as a few bands.

June watched for about 2 minutes then fell asleep cuddled up to Miss Jenny.

But the excitement of all the fire trucks and candy proved to be too much for everyone and soon June was banished to sleeping on the sidewalk.

After the parade, we went back to BratFest. It was our civic duty to help break the record and we're glad to say that we surpassed the record by over 2,000 brats- bring the 4 day brats sold record to 191,712. Here's a couple stats that mama pulled off the website:
