Hanging around the house- June.

We've just been hanging out this week, trying to get the house in order, but mostly just enjoying ourselves.

This morning we were in our room putting away clothes and Buster decided that I needed some entertainment. So he emptied all the available toys on my head and then pulled every book from the bookcase to give to me.

It was fun until mama told him to put them back on the shelf.

Tonight mama gave us baths and put me in this ridiculous bathrobe. My bottom was hanging out and before mama could embarrass me by taking a picture, Henry thought it would be a good opportunity for me to sit on the potty.

Mama and papa have been toying with the idea of potty training big brother. Henry is not interested in it at all. He even told papa that he couldn't sit on the potty because his back hurt. Mama decided small steps might be the best strategy. So now Henry has the opportunity to claim a few tractor fruit snacks if he tells us when he fills his diaper. Don't laugh- getting him to own up to a dirty diaper has been pretty difficult lately. Unfortunately, I didn't get any fruit snacks for my attempt on the potty.

Mama's busy trying to fill our days now that she is a stay at home mom. She decided to try making pudding pops with Henry while I was taking a nap. (Try convincing Henry to shake a tub of pudding for 5 minutes and then telling him that he has to wait 3 more hours to eat it! Not a good idea.) But eventually Henry's patience paid off. Mama decided that Henry could have his pop if he ate it with no shirt and on the way to the pool. We've only got a few more weeks until the pool closes, so we are making a point to go swimming every day.

Henry looks like the Joker with that pudding mustache. Plus those tattoos look pretty tough. Thanks to Aunt Girl for those. We walked in the door to find Henry with 4 tattoos covering his chest, arm, and back.
