Henry's first day of school- June.

Today Henry left for his first day of 2-year-old preschool.
He was so excited to get inside to play with the toys that he didn't even want to stop and get his picture taken.

This is the closest to a smile that we got.

Henry was nervous for about 20 seconds, than made a bee line straight for the magna doodle. He didn't even look up when we said goodbye. we think the teachers were relieved because there we a few other kids who had probably never left their mothers before and were having a hard time adjusting. It must have been like that all morning because before we went down for our nap today, Henry said that he wanted to go back to school but that "Henry missed his mama." Now either Henry is the sweetest, most sensitive boy ever, or he heard the phrase repeated several times today, probably while he was tilting his head sideways and asking his teacher, "Why's that boy crying?"

Meanwhile back at home, mama and I enjoyed some nice quiet time. I got to take a long nap and mama got to work on some craft projects and even made me some new baby food. I think we're going to like preschool.
