Stinks' birthday- mama.

We spent today celebrating Annalise's birthday.
She even had a Clifford cake!

Tessa came over with her family and we had a nice afternoon outside.

Natalie got a corner piece with lots of frosting and ice cream. (Thanks Aunt Jenni and Aunt Becky.)

Lisey (or Shlee Shlaw) received many great books and presents. Thanks for the Dr. Seuss book Uncle Bran! We read it right away.
The best part of the party was that both Turner kids slept though most of it, so I got to eat my cake and ice cream without anyone mooching off of me. When June woke up, Evie was ready to cuddle her.

After the cake, there was an active round of bike riding.
Evie joined in the fun.

And eventually, Henry woke up. Disclaimer: The pictures you are about to see may be disturbing to young children and those with heart conditions. Do not view these photos if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant.
Grandma gave Henry haircut this morning. It seems like his cowlicks have actually gotten worse since the last haircut. Aunt Jenni was also out in the garage during the trim and convinced Grandma to stop early.
Which left Henry with this great hairdo.
This is what Uncle Jim calls "Business up front, Party in the back."
Now if this isn't a smart looking kid, I don't know what is.
"Hey mama! Com'n look over yonder at this new fangled contraption they's got. It's called 'Indoor Plummin' ' Sounds perty high falutin to me."

Looks like Henry is stuck with this look until Grandma cuts off his party in the back- which Aunt Jenni insists he keeps until he gets home to see Papa.
June and Evie were not amused.

Aunt Elizabeth and Aunt Jenni help finish up the cake.

Later, we managed to get all the kids inside to eat supper.
Poor Stinker ended up getting sick tonight. She's got a fever and a couch cushion was the unfortunate victim of too much frosting.

Tessa stopped by to get a shot with the girls. Poor 7th grandkid, she was probably just laying facedown on a cushion somewhere wishing that people noticed her too.
