We are officially old- Henry.
We delayed our trip home by one day because mama had to send some time grieving the end of her youth. Today we bought a minivan.
You would figure that the birth of her first or maybe her second child would signal to her that her youth was over, but this 2004 Toyota Sienna really drove the point home.
That being said, we really like our new huge van. It certainly beats our 11 year old Camry with 132,000 miles and bad struts. Not that we got rid of it. We're trading in Papa's car.
June has been experiencing a love-hate relationship with our favorite dog Jazz. We decided that she's only afraid when she's lower than Jazz's eye level. When she was in the stroller, she didn't seem to mind her. And Jazz liked being allowed to be close to the baby, so she could protect her.
Tonight we went to the playground to birn off some steam. June was very pleased to be outside. She was also pleased that we went out to eat at Hong Kong Buffet. The waitresses were so charmed that they sang to her and one even fed her applesauce while mama ate. Now that's service.
This little boy loves to spell. He can also spell BIG now.
We really love June. And we'd really love it if she would sleep more at night. So tonight, mama nursed her and then stuffed her full of oatmeal right before bed. We hope that she doesn't wake us all up at 4 am. We'll let you know.

Welcome to the club. Maybe if we take our vans in together to get flames put on them, we would get a discount!
